Island Dance Studio

This unique partnership allows students from the Island Dance Studio to be part of the exciting world of professional dance in a variety of ways. Selected students are often given performance opportunities with Ballet Victoria and younger students enjoy having a glimpse of the dancers in daily rehearsals.

Island Dance Studio offers ballet instruction from Pre Primary Ballet to Professional level. Training includes jazz and modern classes. The professional ballet training program, in collaboration with Ballet Victoria, gives senior students unique performance opportunities.

Bridge Program 16+

Studies Include:

Daily company class and rehearsals with Ballet Victoria
Technique classes and pointe work with IDS Studio
Additional jazz, modern, repetoire, body conditioning
Over 30 hours of training per week
CV writing and career planning classes
Examinations and competitions
Performance opportunities with Ballet Victoria and Island Dance Studio
ESL classes if requested
Training and performance opportunities with Ballet Victoria
