BV Dance with Parkinson Program ©

Dancing introduces new possibilities for individuals with Parkinson’s (PD).
Dance for PD® improves strength, fluidity of movement, flexibility, stamina and balance. Dancing with music also enhances balance and gait fluidity, as well as reduces the risk of falls.
The social aspect of dancing stimulates conversation and thinking. It brings about a sense of community and belonging.

The Facility
Our facility offers a wheelchair accessible studio and portable ballet barres, which allow individuals with varying levels of mobility to attend. Additional seating is available for caregivers and volunteers to partake.
