Dear Patrons,
We are looking forward to sharing this holiday season with you. This time of year, is filled with cheer and magic that we look forward to bringing to a stage near you.
This week, Ballet Victoria concluded another wonderful calendar year of “Tea for Tutu” performances, where over 2000 seniors and families with small children attend free performances in Kirk Hall. These events bring community members who cannot attend theatre performances the opportunity to enjoy all our productions and share refreshments with the artists.
We are excited to announce that we are running a matching fundraiser again this holiday season. Two special donors have pledged to match any funds raised up to $20,000 for Ballet Victoria as a holiday present. Before December 31st our goal is to raise the full amount to maximize the pledge. Please consider making any contribution, big or small, to help us reach this goal. Ballet Victoria will provide a deductible tax receipt.
The funds will be dedicated to all our free community programs including Tea for Tutu, BVideo program and other offerings. Your support means that we can provide a living wage to all our dancers and maintain highest level performances for all our communities to enjoy.
As artists, we commit to ensure that Ballet Victoria’s community programs bring joy and delight to all, as we build meaningful memories together.
