Ballet Victoria’s mission is to develop, and promote new and emerging dance talent within our local and global community.
Ballet Victoria’s Aspirant Program is a two-year post-secondary program that has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training. It is designed to give emerging artists the opportunity to refine technical and artistic skills in a supportive and professional environment. The Aspirant Program is open to Canadian and international dancers. By completing the Aspirant Program, dancers are prepared for a professional career with BV and other companies around the globe.
Dancers seeking professional experience can become an apprentice with Ballet Victoria. As an apprentice, dancers receive a stipend, are provided with all costumes and shoes and gain valuable professional experience.
The Ballet Victoria Conservatory is a not-for-profit organization that offers a variety of classes for students ages 3-18+.
