Ballet Victoria has its own version of Alice in Wonderland which will be taken to the next level: new projections, sets, costumes and some updated choreography. The score by B. Britten affords the production British flair, eccentricities and humorous notes that permeate the work. Several characters such as the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter as well as smaller roles instantly became both audiences and dancers’ favorites. Prepare to enjoy a bit of folly and some stellar dancing and acting. BV’s Alice is a tour de force!
