Sebastian Fairley was born in Vancouver, BC and began his training with the Goh Ballet Academy where he was awarded the Vancouver Ballet Society’s Erik Bruhn scholarship, as well as a personal invitation for study in London, England with Elena Glurjidze. Sebastian graduated from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional division with a scholarship and completed one year with the RWB’s Aspirant Program. Since joining Ballet Victoria in 2020, Sebastian has danced lead roles in a variety of ballets, his favourites including Don José in Carmen, and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. He is thrilled to be dancing in his third season with Ballet Victoria.
